I'm an aspiring artist myself, and I do agree some of modern art is total bullshit, it doesn't take skill to randomly spray paint all over canvas or draw a fucking rectangle in the middle of picture, and I hate ppl saying it actually has some depth, no it doesn't, artists do this for money coming up with bullshit of excuses, but there is still some good art out there like digital art, graphics, graphic design or street art, that's actually smart and pleasing for eyes.

being original is not all that difficult. Being creative is originality + usefulness, now THAT's difficult.
now should we judge something as good based on its difficulty? Yes to an extent. Penn earned the big busk because few people can do his shit! He's not only original, but he can do some difficult shit.
In conclusion, yes I do think that 99% of modern artists are full of bullshit.
