I wonder if thats still considered a shot round to the game warden. In uvalde county (i think the whole stse of Texas) you can only use buck shot to hunt in rivers. No rifle no slug(retarded). I've taken deer that have buck shot in them from past seasons cause some dumbass shot um out of range.

Yep lead slugs penetrate better and leave a neat little hole, wax slugs just shred the sh#@ out of whatever they hit!

Crayon wax works but melts on a hot day. Candle wax has a better heat tolerance.

5:27. If the wax is getting to the outside of the wad (concetrator), then it would seem to have the potential to get down into the powder.

The was doesn't make contact with the gunpowder ... Because did u see that plastic thing at 5:58 ... this is called Concentrator ... And this plastic thin stays between gunpowder and the projectile (bullet) ... When he fills it with wax he doesn't make contact with the gunpowder, because the concentrator is protecting the gunpowder .... and that concentrator is falling down 50-70 meters after the gunshot ... and this HOME MADE SLUGS hit the target :) ...

the only real difference (and benefit) of using slugs is that they are a little more accurate, otherwise I agree with you, wax shells and slugs are very similar!
