Less than one year with this great compact camera. Is in the "top three" bridge camera to me (With Sony R1 and Fujifilm S100fs). The "magic" super CCD (small 1/1.7" size, but a little "big" to compact camera) obtains very good images at ISO 800, far superior than Panasonic Fz-50, Fz-18 and all Canon's prosumers.
Photos from Argentinian "Patagonia" and near places... Music: Royal Orch: Cover "Bohemian rhapsody" (Queen).

  • are these enhanced in like photoshop or sumthing

  • @thekoolaidhunter Yes. In many cases but just few ajustments like a little contrast, corrections about horizont or hightlight clips...tipical in this kind of cameras with tiny sensors. Sometimes the colour saturation and contrast are from fujichrome fuction. In many cases I was using RAW and the results were excelent... here is my Flickr mixed with other from my Dslr flickr photos/24379051@N06/ cheers from Argentina.

  • Lovely presentation!

Despite having 2 DSLR systems I find myself enjoying using the Fuji much more; enormous return for a small investment

  • Tanks ColetteNoir, I remember you from Flickr (from Russia?). Yes, Now I countdown few moths to get my First Dsrl (Pentax K7 or Sony A700) depending lenses & money (Argentina is terrefic expensive). Of corse, compare S6000 with a reflex is not fair: AF, Noise, Speed, processor, DoF, CA, DR...etc. But with normal ligth works so good as D40,

  • and low light better than any compact (only matched by Sony R1 & Fujifilm S100fs). I Payed U$D 500 kit 2 years ago EXCELLENT Cam, Have Doubts to see EXR sensor beating this little 6.3 old sensor, In S200 will depend in diferent processor than F200.

  • Yes (and not), I use it many times like landscapes and Rock shows (50% at lest) a few flowers too, but Fujichrome simulation film isn't good in portrait (obviusly) and other things (the original Fujichrome Film is ideal for landscapes).

There is much tendency to redish, so...in most cases I preffer no use it.

The sunrises here in my Patagonia are very bright and red...so, sometimes I take the Photo two times...with and without film simulaton to choose. Sorry my english ;)
