  • @robertvideo In 1971 Tony was planning a tour with Jimi ? Which Jimi ? Hendrix ? Hendrix died in 1970.

  • @epasurr in 1971 at Ronnie Scotts in the UK - Tony, Jack Bruce and Jimi were planning a tour adn then something happened.... OH YEAH! - Marshal Dies OPPS - I miss you brother Tillmon - RIP my brother

  • Why didn't he mention Allan Holdsworth???

  • What's the tune playing in the backing of the interview? I think I've heard Brecker and Metheny..

  • tony played with coltrane and hendrix??? that is serious news to me, anybody know if there's any recordings out there of this?

  • The interview is great, the background tune is horrid!

  • hard. to. concentrate. with. smooth. music. in. background.

I know it's not your fault RareJazzVideos... I'm so glad you've been posting such great stuff!

  • Sage advice from a master.

  • Whenever I watch Tony I just catch myself thinking about how he's the pure representation of class, talent and intelligence, something that some great musicians tend to lose.

  • and pats synthguitar in the background:)
