Demon's Souls boss Flamelurker

I didn't expect this game to be so difficult and so rich in terms of strategy and content, there's many things to know if you want to survive in Boletaria, and it's a bit hard to learn at the beginning.
To tell you the truth, this game is a little masterpiece, I'm not a fan of From Software's games (which are bad generally), but I had this one on my wishlist from the moment I saw the first screen and trailer, and I don't regret my investment at all.
There's the Nexus, the atmosphere, the battle style that changes for every type of weapon and stance you're adopting (switching between one-hand or two to wield your weapon affects your movements), the weird voice acting, the strange story, the difficulty which can make every encounter a memorable fight (especially against powerfull foes for sure), the world tendancies balance, and that feeling which makes me remember about Diablo every time I play.
For everyone out there who wants to buy the game, check the Chinese version which is fully localized in English (voices, texts, menus...), you won't regret it.

Flamelurker isn't supposed to train anyone, he is just like the others ^^

Anyway my stuff wasn't that good as you think it was, I could have faced him and win maybe, but this video was mainly to show that this game has somme flows and tricks to help those who have difficulties.

On my NG+ in the other hand I took him down by myself just so you know, but I don't see the point in showing "hey ! look I'm a hardcore gamer woot woot !!" that's just stupid.

if you had the purple dragon shield, high endurance, and the fire ring. Flamelurker shouldn't be too hard.

I was hoping this game wouldn't possess any "tricks" or "glitches" or allow players to farm or have a single play style reign supreme over all others.

So I take it Newgame+ has you keep your profiles awesome stats and just replay levels with the same ammount of difficulty, no more?

The Purple Dragon Shield and Fire Ring don't do that much with him, have a look at 1:52 to see how much I loose in one hit. But yes, as I said I could have killed him without this trick.

For those "tricks" or "glitches", there's not much in fact, and some of them are not real tricks to begin with. But what game doesn't have some tricks nowadays ? And this one doesn't have more than them.

About NG+ you forget the difficulty which increase on each play, and it's already good like this.

No HD TV, I play on my PC screen, but I watched it once on an HD TV and it looks good ^^

Oh, man. I remember when I beat this game, *SPOILER*, and when I stepped on the Black Maiden's head at the end, I had this feeling of "Oh, yeah. I just beat the hardest game ever.", but then I did NG+ and well, bye bye confidence...again

i took out the flamelurker by jumping to the side every time hi striked then i ran up behind him and hit him with an enchanted sword he is weak to magic so i took him out fearly eaysy and the dragon god is childsplay so thats to bosses without traveling back to the nexus =)

when i fought flame lurker i two handed a halberd and diddnt take a hit what the hell i thought this boss was "the hardest of all time"

this guys is not tough, the point is how u fight him. i fought with him head on 1 on 1. i used magic to take him down. my hit was like under 20hp for him and my magic was like 135hp:D lol.

guys just head on and walk around him with ur purple shiled up. he is very easy.

my stats was under 20. only str was 22.

Must get very hot while wearing a full suit of armor and fighting an enemy that is on fire.

Solo'd him easy in NG+ without using any glitches. Get your PFS, flame resistance, water viel power. Let him attack you (the PFS absorbs Flamelurker's attacks like a mega sponge), then slash him twice and back off. Rinse/repeat. Keep moving around in open space like a Matador, if he manages to get you cornered you are finished.

ok, this boss is hard to kill if you have realy low faith( like me=( ) but it is still possible.
