  • very bad techniquie! practice more! :S

  • @luisjd122 this video is a year old after being involved with magic for about 5-6 months, and practice more I have indeed. If you have any useful criticism then I would happily appreciate it! Unfortunately, there are no other magicians in my area to help me in my pursuit, and most feedback from the internet doesn't really help, so any comments/advice/help would be great.

  • @Tookeyswindle

    Okay, thanks

  • @TheMagicmanZev Of course man, its only a magic trick. Im sure Mr Bich would be very pleased with himself knowing that other people are using the effects. I'll even send you details of how I do it, if ya like?

  • @Tookeyswindle

Yeah, well I think I know how it's done, Can I use it in a video?

    Thanks, Zev

  • @TheMagicmanZev Its a Mathieu Bich idea. Im not sure of the name of the video I saw it on, it was all in French too so this one of the easier more visual ones to follow when you don't speak a word of the language.

I can't grasp the subtlety required for the 'wave' to make it look smooth, hence why I differ slightly on the handling in the oil and water. I like to think that my variance would hopefully not lessen the beauty of the effect too much...

  • @Tookeyswindle

Same with his performance of Waving the aces! Such a hard trick...

    -Zev

P.S. where did you learn that producing a deck of cards trick (tin foil)?

  • @TheMagicmanZev I havent got the handling quite right though , I think Guy's version on London Collection is absolutely beautiful.

  • Guy's "Oil and Water" is one of my favorite handlings, "Drawing Room Deceptions" is a great book.

  • @Tookeyswindle np and glad i could inspire you :)
