Constant Supply playing live at the twisted pepper
Holy thursday session 21/4/11
Constant Supply are a two piece from Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. James Gillen and Conal Sweeney have been playing music together on and off since they were 13. After about 3 years of playing acoustic sets (because they couldn't find a decent drummer) James decided to purchase a drum machine. They haven't looked back since. Their songs are now fully formed for peoples ears. Excited and itching to play live, they decided to firstly record their debut EP "Alleviate" in March of this year with Tommy McLaughlin (Villagers) in his lovely Attica studio in Termon, Co. Donegal. Since it's completion tracks from the EP have received national airplay on 2fm from Dan Hegarty and Cormac Battle, respectively, as well as airplay around the country. The "Alleviate" EP is now available at Tower Records in Dublin, Cool Discs in Derry, Rough Trade Records in London, and Banquet Records in Surrey.
