You got this part wrong. In Okami, you can use the brush powers on your enemies, giving you more attacks. In Dynasty Warriors, You are mashing the same button all the time, throwing some special moves in here and there.

I concede that Okami's combat system is deeper than i said, but it amounts for me to little more than just using the attack button, mist spell, and slashes, and it's not fun. But calling Dynasty Warriors only using one button is very shallow. You ever played Strikeforce? Or 7?

You have a valid point with the fighting and controls, and I can see you not liking the story. Most people who aren't fans of anime wouldn't understand or appreciate the way that it mixes drama with comedy, but that just you. What I don't understand is how you can hate a game because of it's music and graphics. The first ever video games had horrible graphics and the music sounded like a fax machine in all of them, but people still love them.

1) This seems more like a "Why I dislike Okami" instead of a "Why I hate Okami" video.

2) You stated that you stopped playing the game and looked up the final boss on YouTube...I don't see why you would do this instead of being "immersed" with the game as stated with the Wii version.

I respect your opinions, but I simply feel you judged this game too harshly. If I am wrong, then I am wrong. I just want to give constructive criticism.

@TheZB17 At those times there were no standards For example Mario was the one to set the bar in music and In Super mario 64 it also set the graphics bar for the Nintendo 64 and playstation era.

I'm a huge fan of anime, and I kinda like Okami for its story. However, the gameplay feels a little weird for me. The brushstroke thing, though interesting, didn't really pan out for me. Doesn't make me hate the game, but it doesn't make it my kind of game.

... Let's face it, you had the camera positioned wrong when you attempted to bloom the clovers and trees. Yeah, I've had trouble with it too, but I got used to it once I figured out the problem.

Still, instead of going through it all, you gave up when you had to fight some of the bosses again. I think that's rather shallow in itself. Yeah, backtracking is annoying. But sometimes, it's just damn worth it.
