Another collection of 8mm moments taken from my Grandfather's film collection we recently had digitized. These were shot in and around Excelsior Springs, Missouri in the period from 1956 to 1959 - at least that is my best guess. I slowed the credit roll down a bit for this one, the first one was too fast. Music is "Quietude" by Forrest Fang.

  • You could sell this easily. Already digitized... Someone could use it in a film. You!

  • I'm waiting for offers...

  • Beautiful! How did you get it to digital? Is your mom in there somewhere? I bet your family loves this! I'll ask my Grama if she has any film... Thanks for sharing!

  • I took the rolls of processed film my grandfather stored in shoeboxes and had a company in Kansas City called "Something Different" digitize them for me. I then edited them using Sony Vegas Studio.

And yes my Mother does appear - a little know fact is she also appeared briefly in a film starring Michael Douglas that was shot around Excelsior Springs in the 70s "Adam at 6 A.M.".
