BBC news -sick thug attacks & blinds pensioner but goes free

A man who left a 96-year-old war veteran blind in one eye after attacking him on a packed tram has been given a three-year supervision order.

Stephen Gordon, 44, launched his unprovoked attack on Shah Chaudury in Croydon, south London, in December. Gordon, from Croydon, was found guilty of grievous bodily harm after the attack was caught on CCTV, Croydon Crown Court heard.

"The blow to the victim's head caused serious injury, which has resulted in the victim losing sight in one eye," said Det Sgt Darren Stenning. "And unfortunately since this assault, the victim's health has deteriorated and he now resides in a care home."

The attack took place on a tram travelling between Sandilands and East Croydon on December 14 last year. Gordon had tried to push past the victim, who was standing in the aisle leaning on his walking sticks. As he squeezed under the pensioner's arms his hat was knocked off and he
swore at the man and punched him in the face.

Police said two school children who were on the tram chased Gordon. They later gave evidence against him.

And yes justice has gone out the window! Hopefully somebody will give this smelly scumbag a good hiding when hes a pensioner too, or anytime hehe. Form an orderly queue!!

Black thugs like this always think they can walk all over & mistreat people whenever they want & get away w/ it. Then when you stand up to them, you're the devil. It also sickens me when blacks attack & hurt non-blacks, so many people are cowards & don't do a dang thing acting like they don't know what's going on/what to do, but when a non-black attacks a black person, everybody & their mama all of a sudden plays superhero for them & kicks their can. @BORROVAN26 Doesn't matter that the government made it an "explicit policy" or not. Your government INVITED the foreigners. So if people are gonna complain, go and take it up with the man/men in charge - the government! Not the innocent foreigners. And on the first point, I was not instigating that racial abuse is worse than any physical crime, at any point. To you 'so-called people', the very idea of being a 'racist' even in thought, let alone deed, is a crime worse than physical assault or worse, which you have expressly stated in your original comment. As for your other point, yes, the post-war government invited some foreigners. The people didn't. Subsequent governments made it an explicit policy to impose immigration whether we wanted it or not.
