Here it is... a quick little way to get slow and fast motion AND audio if it suits your fancy. I've noticed that my scripts, when copied from YouTube, sometimes get strange spaces and gaps in them that will cause them to error out, so I've provided a copy of all my Mencoder scripts at the link below. Hope it helps!

Next up - projector and camera settings! This is an essential base for compositing, from that "Planet Spring" thing I did, right down to simple photo slide shows.

  • how do you make the video fats , BUT without the chipmunk effect like in VLC player? it gets annoying you know.

  • @MysTeri0usMatT7 You can do it in Cinelerra. This is kind of a follow up to the Cinelerra tutorial where I do fast and slow motion. Cinelerra has an option to stretch the audio.

  • I need the command based 'mEncoder', but I can't find it anywhere...

  • It's in the repos if you're running Ubuntu. Just open a prompt and type "sudo aptitude install mencoder" and it should take care of the rest.

  • awwww ur kids r very cute ^^

  • lol that's the problem when you're using windows.

I already downloaded SMPlayer, and in the help files it sais that mencoder.exe is in some directory, along with some other .exe's. The others are there, but mencoder.exe isn't.

  • I've looked into it and haven't found anything native that isn't a bit of a pain. If you search for mendocer and dpg on google, there's some scripts that are involved, but in the end, cut and paste. Easiest suggestion would be to install Wine and load up one of the Windows based converters and see if you can do it from there.

  • do u know how to convert a video container into dpg, for nds?

  • Excellent! The terminal is nothing to be feared... especially when there's so much cut and paste available out there. :-)

  • that kinda got me a little more familiar with terminal..
