I live in Brandon, although I could never get CKX on satellite, it's still very sad.

it was part of my life. I worked there after college in Brandon ACC..

CKX was to Brandon what other stations...Say for example, KAIT is for Jonesboro, Arkansas... These single station markets are very critical!!! No one can afford a no-station market!!!

Wow, I'm just hearing of this. I live out of the country now but I grew up in Virden. This is sad indeed, no way Winnipeg stations are going to cover western Manitoba news like CKX did.
