RC J-3 cub crash at SCCMAS

This 1/4 scale J-3 cub crashed at a Fun Fly event at SCCMAS when it couldn't escape a string holding a balloon.

I've analyzed the video, and this crash was of flying too low, followed by a collision with a balloon string, followed by the balloon string being too high strength, (it is what caused the plane to veer to the right) followed by no reaction.

Was this flight being graded by the man in the chair? What was the score?

Well... the flight was being graded by the man in the chair. If you look at 1:21 you can clearly see, to the far left of the picture, that he gave it a score of two feet up (his 2 thumbs were busy).

I think the guy in the hardhat knew something was going to happen.

In scale, it crashed into a rope. its like hitting a cable from a BARRAGE BALLOON.
