here's some ambient music using the RE-20.
I'm playing a song I wrote a few days ago that's actually the first song I've ever written in DADGAD. I guess the guitar is slightly out of tune..:(

the TWIST which I forgot to use on the other demo is used every now and then.
it can get pretty crazy, although I like to use it more as a subtle pitch-bending chorus-ish effect.

  • thanks for the kind comments guys.

this is soooo effin' out of tune.

  • What is that effect at 1:36 ?

  • that's the TWIST effect.

  • Do you have tabs for this lol? i wanna play it with my RE-20 :P

  • sorry, no tabs.. I don't even remember how I played it back them:(

  • Cool song, where can I download it?

Also, can you explain to me how exactly the "tape head" selector knob works? Does it select the amount of repeats or what? I thought I should ask you as I love the sounds you're getting out of this thing, this is much better than the other YouTube videos with it. :)

  • thanks man.

the tape head selector generally changes the rhythm of the repeats. it's kind of hard to explain..

  • I used to think 20+ million hits for Charlie Bit My Finger was odd...but 16,000 for this defies belief.

  • tune

  • This is fantastic. Do you remember any of the pedal settings?

  • Very, very cool! :) No review can top this(although - it is a bit out of tune...but you can understand the sound). I'm getting one of these

  • The detuned guitar actually seems to complement the song here. Noce job and great pedal.

  • @tatoi Honestly, I think the out of tune-ness works with this piece you made.

This video convinced me to get one, and I play bass.

  • mmmmm......sweet
