Wrong Verizon was the one who turned down Apple because Apple wanted to run things and Verizon said no. By the way the Droid is a better phone on a better network and if you have not used the Droid? then you can't say anything about it. I have used both the Droid and Apple iphone 3gs and the Droid is hands down the winner of the two at least at this part of the game. Its also faster then the iphone I know because like I said I have used both for myself. Two thumbs down too your comments.

Verizon held numerous third party comparisons with the droid and iphone and it rates a lot lower than the iphone. Afterall it is the competition. Iphone has everything this phone has. Iphone is faster and verizon is trying to play catch up because they rejected the iphone in the proposal. Two thumbs down on droid
