the shore of gaza is 20KM long.... the gas is located at the shore of ashkelon an israeli city... the plan was prepared before cause there had to be a plan for every possible kind of situation. hamas was shooting rockets daily at israeli cities and there was pressure on behalf of the public to do somthing about it. besides what's the difference it made for the gas thing? in both cases the sea is controled by israel... why do we need to attack for the gas? they don't have a fleet
