Debate and Discussion of Mohammed Cartoon Controversy on BBC Radio in 2006. Panel: Michael Burke, Melanie Phillips, Clifford Longley, Steven Rose, Ian Hargreaves. Guests: Tariq Ramadan, AC Grayling, Haleh Afshar, Sarah Joseph
this appalling episode was instigated, by a group of imams, who purposely used
those cartoons,(& i might say, added some more of THEIR OWN, nothing to do with the magazine), took them to backward minded islamic states, whipped up hysteria, knowing that these muslims are incapable of controling l themselves.
end result...the usual. death threats - murder - violence - riots because of
i repeat... the inherrently problematic totalitarian ideology called islam.
freedom of speech is necessity, if you don t have it you have nothing.
& anyone, who postures the concocted phenom of er
" islamophobia" devised to silence critique....or thought crime offence, .is simply an apologist for threat & murder inherrent in the problematic totalitarian ideology called islam...and i concur a great upload ;-)
Moral cowardice is easily detectable when the phrase "I believe in freedom of speech" is followed by "but...". We hear a lot of this stuff whenever people talk about the hurt feelings of members of religious sects (especially when they turn violent as is often the case with islam).
