Pix from my college painting classes, narrated by mois. I made a mistake and reversed 11 bux nekkid with 9 bux clothed, but other than that it's perdy good.
When I first started doing life drawing it was a little weird. I figured out that it wasn't because the person was naked though. Truth is I never looked at anyone so closely that way before. You don't normally look at people on the street like that they'll think your crazy.
I don't know...its rather sad that people react in the ways that they do to seeing a naked person. first off its more than likely do to their own insecurities, or the idea that they like seeing someone naked; however due to pressures created and molded by their family and/or society they feel that an explosion of false negative emotions must erupt to give the false lure that they are offended. seeing someone naked in a painting class is like seeing a car driving on a dirt road, it happens
This was a great video. I hear you when you spoke about reactions to nude models. I taught Life Drawing at the college level. I could not believe the reaction from some of the students. I had one female student break down in tears just because the model took off her clothes. The student became hysterical. I couldn't believe it. Like you said "This is college." My, my, oh my! LOL LOL Nice vid!
My brother-in-law told me about one female painting model who returned from a break with a piece of TP still hanging on. He didn't say whether that got painted or not.
This is really interesting. I've never been to art school, I'm 22 and self taught, I guess. You should come check out my stuff.Just click on Spidikin.
Aww thanks:-) I guess I'm my worst critic. I always feel I can
do better. Plus having something other than self taught on your bio looks much more professional. I know I'd love to go to art school! Can always learn more! that's why I started the artist salon on ning dot com so I could get other artists sharing what they know, and I could share what I know. :)
