@tvengineer8 It's got to be 1999. She was talking about "another death that might be related to the failure of a firestone tire". There were a ton of accidents due to Firestone tires in 1999, and they had a huge recall in 2000. In addition, she also said "New Orleans is about to get another presidential campaign visitor". George W. Bush was elected in 2000, so if they were still campaigning, it would have to be the year before that... so 1999 must be correct. : )

They had their tower/sky cam video on the rear monitor, and maintenance crew decided that was a good time to work on the camera, or maybe it was a thief ? anyway wasn't really Anchors fault.

Good question :-)
Just from memory.. and the color of the weather set.. it was only yellow for a short time... and remembering the people who were at work that day (most of them were fired by sept.2001.. i'd have to guess around 2000.. possibly 1999.. but no earlier than that..
