good golf tip. your clubs pretty much take care of most of the spin. other factors would include a softer ball and close cut grass...your not going to get much spin out of the longer grass. some of you guys think these pga professionals are over simplifying the lesson, but really...they are right on.

If you want more backspin, select a golfball with a softer cover...i.e. the balls designed for spin! easy as that. Then just learn how to hit a golf ball properly, and the spin will sort itself out.

Dude im 14 and i know more about hitting backspin, you got to make sure you hit the golfball first followed but a divot in the ground. if there isnt an divot, you know you haven hit ground first
