How were you injured?

Dude, im a c5 and i don't feel that life is as bad as you say, in all your vids you look so sad, if you want people to treat you as they did before then you must treat yourself as you did before. Everything that happens in life is not for us to decide, but we do have a choice to react positive or negative. Stop looking at the past and move to what is ahead. Life is not over man, keep ur chin up.

People really don't know what we go through. Then again, did you ever really think about a quadriplegic before you accident? I didn't. I wish I would have. It's funny how Life Works out. Hopefully stem cells come along soon enough. Merry Christmas!

You are in my prayers, friend.

Hey Matt,
I can totally relate to everything you've said in your video. I'm a C5/6 - I got hurt a week before I turned 17 - almost 5 years ago. I was an athlete, super popular, always on the go and now I'm living the quad life LOL. I obviously have a chicks perspective but I definitely think ICs are easier for guys. Everything you said is EXACTLY me, pre and post injury. Asking people to scratch your nose in the hospital made me giggle because I totally remember doing that.
Stay smiling :)

Hi Matt.
I hope your spirit grows with you and helps keep you strong. I will think of you always and send my love and light to you.
My bro Matt was in a very bad accident 3 years ago. We were told to say our good buys, He did not die. But after many operations he is still not the same.
Matt i will think of you always. xoxoxo

Hi Matt, I see it's been a year since you posted this video and I'm just seeing it. I'm a Nursing student lookin up autonomic dysreflexia...you came up. Just wanted to say it's vids like these that give uninjured people like myself a different perspective on life. We take so much for granted you know. I can't imagine how you cope but you seem so positive and optimistic for change. Keep that up because it IS an amazing trait to have. Stay cool peoples, Peace.

hello matt, what happened to you? and what are doctors saying about the stem cell research? we can talk privately if you want. I was reading about the trial being done in Alabama, do u think there be a cure soon?

So what happened to you to become a quad? Did your girlfriend leave you because of your injury? Do you have a girlfriend now? I know I'm askin alot of questions I just want to know. If you don't want to talk about it thats okay. You just seem like a pretty cool guy who had an unfortunate accident. Just be grateful for what you do have.=)
