URA answer to Singapore tour bus driver.

It's all the same, what they need is a little bit more common sense.

There's illegal parking because the 8 parking lots provided for the 100+ tour coaches per day are not resonable.
Summons are not going to solve the problems.

There's litter bugs because the litter bins are full or there are not enough litter bins in that area.
Fines are not going to solve the problems.

MRTs systems breaks down because of technical problems.
Blaming those drawing high salaries personnels are not going to solve the problems.
Because those problems are not in their plans.
So please let them continue to enjoy their high salaries.

URA and LTA enforcement officers missions?
To improve traffic conditions or to earn commisions?
In this video you can see there wasn't any traffic issue.

When there's a problem, there must be some reasons, some questions and an answer to it.

For the tour coach drivers of Singapore, there's problems, reasons and questions.

But never had any answer.................................................

And the "boss" of that officer never called.........

@Haffizkimi yeah, they are doing their jobs, we are doing our jobs too, we used our common sense to make sure we don't cause a traffic jam. We didn't stop in the middle of busy Orchard Rd. We are taking tourist to what our Government said are the Tourism attractions LEGALLY. And they said the increase of tourist arrivals have improved our economy. A part of those tourist are using our services. Or maybe tourist arrivals didn't improve our economy, the summons did.

I really don't understand the motive of your video... "customer service never give me answer before"... so in order to vent your frustrations, you are annoying the enforcement officers? I hate being issued summons too, but judging from the video, the enforcement officer seemed professional...he patiently answered your questions.... but the funny thing i dont get is why the hell are you filming? are you a low life?

From what i see, you are just plain lazy to go and find other legal parking spots. I believe there are plenty within a few km radius of ur location. Tourist give us income as well as people like you. Law is law. Accept it or migrate and dont make it hard for them.
