Banjo Clarke, "Wisdom Man" - Aboriginal Elder

Attention Oprah!
Over 27-years, Banjo Clarke told the story of Aboriginal traditions which include caring for the land, taking only what you need, sharing with others and sensing a deep connection to each other and one's elders.

Once published, the story became an Australian best-seller entitled, "Wisdom Man Banjo Clarke as told to Camilla Chance". The book is now in it's second edition from Penguin.

Banjo lived from 1922-2000 and his funeral was the largest of any ever held in Warrnambool, Australia. His advice was even sought by the former Prime Minister of Australia in addition to many others. Shane Howard (www.shanehoward.com.au), a well known Australian musician said, "Banjo was in the business of saving lives on a daily basis."

I feel so ashamed of what my ancestors did, still do today even. I've never understood why a lot of white people think the bigger the building the more civilised, you can learn a lot more from this man than you can from any joker in a suit!

Everything that is happening in this world points back to the mistreatment of the earth's orignial people the Aboriginal. White man never listened he never stopped to think about the birds, animals and fish. Now these species are leaving us one at a time the fish 10's of 1000's just in Janurary alone. Birds are now started to fall dead out of the sky all around the world. In some lands people are reporting animal dieing too. We humans are a spiritual people and forgot our true purpose.

Human should slow down. This system is a monster who is eating away mother earth. Human does not need a system which is this fast. This system breads morons and gives an advantage for them (narrow minded selfish morons). Morons can see material but completely oblivious to the true meaning of human nature. True happiness does not come from materialism. Older cultures did have what human need. Now there is a human farm. Guess who is the livestock? The shame is no one benefits frm this stupidity
