Speck Candyshell vs Casemate Pop

Some things I forgot to mention:
• the grippy areas on the Pop are beginning to wear a little. You can see that at 2.25. nothing major though.

• I heard in another review that the Candyshell Grip uses a different rubber than the Candyshell, and it seems like it shouldn't flake as easily. That sounds promising. Yay :)

• The glue binding the rubber and plastic on the Speck does fail, however you only notice this when you're actively pulling at the corners. Also, not only do the breaks in the Speck not affect the phone, you also cannot see them.. well, except for the one above the dock.

• .. I've seen a Candyshell that was broken in two places above the dock. I imagine that would be a lot more annoying, compared to the way mine broke which I hardly noticed when using it.

• both of these cases are crap if you want to use a chunky third party dock cable. The Pop might do a little better (slightly bigger dock cutout).. but I just use the apple dock so I can't comment.

• Why does the Apple Hifi in the video not support charging? No idea..



...Wow this reminds me of how much I hate the sound of my own voice. :X

Sorry for the crap sound quality, my frequent repetitiveness, my lisp (goddamn retainer), me constantly moving the cases like they're barbie dolls and I'm trying to make it look like they're talking to each other, "umm"ing a lot.. and pretty much anything else you can think of. In spite of all this... I'll put it out there and I hope it helps. Be kind? ^.^
