  • i know understand why it works so well.... BECAUSE YOU DRENCHED THE FUCKING THING IN DE-ODERANT!!!!!

  • Thats how my boy scouts flint and steel is, but the flint and steel is hooked onto a string bracelet thing...

  • OK... Just wiki'd Ferrocerium Rods and Flint & Steel... And you were right Tomthelordandmaster, so I apoligise... But, it's easy to not know the 2 so, a little slack ain't bad :D

  • It's accually(sp?) both a form of flint and a ferro rod... A flint is just a thing that makes ton's of really hot sparks... Out of rocks... And a ferro rod is that, it's made out of... 7 I think, different types of metals (remember, metal is made out of rocks ;))...

  • @Thefredcompany 1. I use this myself for camfires, only in a less quality version.

    2. this is not a ferro rod. its actualy a form of flint.

    3. Fred sucks ass.

  • 1. It wouldn't be building a perfect campfire "Just with this" - you used a cotton pad and a can of deodrant.

    2. It's not a flint and steel, it's a ferro rod.
