This was the opening track of their 1977 album "ABBA - The Album". It was also released as a single in May 1978.

When i was attending RYLA 2005, i was told to sing a song, and with out any reluctance i selected this song ,but somewhere in middle i had lost the lyrics. I felt embarrassed and took seat in the last row to avoid my friends. But next day, before starting that day section "ABBA-EAGLE" was presented with lyrics ,and he called my name and said. " Look, yesterday you had forgotten the lyrics, and that inspired me to bring this for RYLA 2005, which will exalt rylarians 2 dream like this eagle"

Gotta admit my ignorance a bit here! When ABBA existed I thought they were just another pop band/group I was only 5-7 years old at the time. But when I was older saw a doco about them. Ben & Bjorn just played the tunes without writing it down When I was in a band ages ago tried to get the sound from this tune. Bcoz it is ace! My mates were like wtf! I said don't listen to the lyrics, listen to the music. The guitar solo at the end and keyboard bit in the middle is superb!!
