Rex Chapman 1997 playoffs Phoenix Suns running 3 pointer vs Seattle Supersonics

This has been posted before, but this is a different version than what I can find on YouTube. Game 4-May 1, 1997: Phoenix leads Seattle in the 1st round Western Conference series 2 games to 1, but Seattle leads in Phoenix 107-104 with 4.3 seconds. The inbound pass goes to Rex Chapman, who puts up the running three point shot to send the game into overtime. TNT covered this (apparently Phoenix announcers Gary Bender and Cotton Fitzsimmons overlaid on this though), this was an NBA download from 2003. Rex finished with 22 points (9 of 22 shooting, 4 of 12 from three point territory), but Seattle won 122-115 in overtime, then won game 5 in Seattle. No gain from this now, nor before, nor intended in the future. Fair quality.

Maybe college HOF, but he only played 2 years in college. To compare, I like Kirk Gibson, hit 2 famous home runs, but he sholdn't be enshrined as a player in the HOF either. My 2 cents, we'll see..

... so what? The moment still proved incredible when you consider that this shot shockingly tied the game and sent it to overtime, where the Suns could have won the series. Unfortunately, the referees swallowed their whistles on Kevin Johnson's drives to the hoop and refused to foul out Shawn Kemp.
