Did this a while ago, but remains as my best run on the track yet.

My TT records on the PAL version used to have Coco at the top, but then I tested the waters with Crash once more and jesus, he can tackle the 90 degree -turns without letting go of the gas at all and that if anything helps a lot when it comes to time trialing.

The huge boost ramp at the end gives ya MASSIVE speed boost on the ground if you don't hop from the ramp. As far as I know this boost can only be triggered with multiple boosts beforehand, but as you can see it isn't that much of a problem with Crash.

All in all, nice run on my favourite track. 2.21.45 is pretty neat time to pull off.

And in case you weren't already aware of from the title, this is the American version of the game because the PAL conversion sucks.

The boost counter:
Hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle, Down(2), Circle, Up at the main menu.

  • @miabua73 That would be correct. I like to have legit fun when it comes to time trialing, kinda helps ya get better at the game too. :P

  • @Muggshotter, in PAL use Penta Penguin and you will get much better like 2:08 or something around that, but maybe you don't like to use a cheat character :P

  • @miabua73 I recently got 2.15.xx on this track (NTSC-U). I'll see if I can repeat the scenario in the PAL version and If I succeed in that, I'll show solid proof.

  • @MrJelloes, PAL doesn't give longer boosts! and you can easy get around 2.15-2.10 on this track with NTSC-U with Crash or Cortex!

  • @miabua73 yes but you are playing the PAL version so that doesn't count

  • @MrJelloes, check out other players dude and you will see long boosts! and me xD

  • @MrJelloes Make sure you trigger the slide boosts when the gauge is just about at max. Then when you make your jump to the short cut prior to the huge boost ramp do two slide boosts and time your second slide boost with the boost ramp, it should help.

    I've got another video of shot a TT run in this track and man, the boost... it lasts even longer than it does in this. It's nuts.
