  • how do you fit the tent and sleeping bag plus extras into your bike? I want to do this but unsure atm

  • @SuperEarther

Its simple you dont take them, there's loads of cheap accomodation on route, In the video you'll see a shed, thats the kind of thing available you can hire sleeping bags and towels for the night...as for the bike take the minimum a multi tool, spare tubes ,patches and a camel back

  • Great Video, I,m hoping to do the Way starting on the 19th september, cycling for 3 days... hopefully

  • good luck

  • me and my freinds are doing this over 3 days staying in tents i cant wait

got any advice on what to take (like things you wouldnt think of) Thanks.

  • If your going by MTB the loch lomond section north of inversnaid is very demanding you'll be forced to carry your bike a fair bit so you may want to consider leapfroging this section by ferry(buy the WHW footprint waterproof route map)

  • @alzabhoy

You dont need a map or compass the route is well waymarked. Buy the WHW footprint route map. you'd struggle along loch lomonds boulder field with paniers so leap frog that section by ferry or ditch the paniers as theres loads of cheap places to stay where you can hire towels and sleeping bags for the night like the shed in the vid (thistle kinlochleven) or benglas farm

  • great video and pic.

how did you choose your route & if available as a map could direct me to where to purchase one please many thanks

  • @ndz8577 nice thanks

  • Thanks.. i have got the harvey footprint XT40 so, i shouldn,t get lost.. we were thinking we would need to bail out at Inversnaid... maybe even miss out conic hill..we have to do about 40 miles in first day.

  • Nice one
