Not Your Enemy {Nick Jonas Love Story} Chapter 9 "A Loner is a Loser!" Des. Box

I was planning to post this chapter on Sep. 2 but you guys gave me a lot of comments on the last chapter so I had to post this one! :) I hope you like it!

I stared at him for a second and stood up. I grabbed my shoes and started walking when I saw he wasn't following me. I turned around to face him.

"Aren't you coming?" I said smiling.
"I though you loved to be alone." he said as he got up.
" I do." I said smiling a bit.

He smiled and we started walking.

"So tell me a little bit about yourself." Nick said.
"You mean after the fact that I'm a loner?" I said.
"I don't think you are a loner. I just think you like to be alone." he said.
"Same thing." I said.
"That's where you're wrong. A loner is a loser. And I don't think you're a loser." he said.
"Um, thanks I guess." I said as I laughed a bit.
"So tell me about yourself." he asked again.
"Well, my dad left us when I was 5. Now, I'm 14. I love writing music, playing guitar, listening to music, being on the computer, and that's about it." I said.
"What about love?" he asked looking at me.
"What about it?" I said looking at him.
"Are you lucky?" he asked.
"Well, not really. But I think I might be starting to be." I said. He smiled at me.
"How about you?" I asked him.
"Same as you." he said. We both smiled.
"Let's head back. It's getting dark and I'm hungry." I said.
"Not yet." he said as he ran into the water.
"What is that crazy boy doing?" I said to myself.

I ran after him and got in the water.
We started to splash each other and then we just swan for a while.

"This is so fun!" I said very excited. "I haven't had this much fun in a long time." I said.
The feeling inside, I only felt when I was with him.

We ran back to the house soaking wet.

"What happened to you guys?!" Sara asked seeing me smiling like a fool.
"We...had an accident!" Nick said.
"An accident?...Nick, you were the one who splashed me." I said laughing.
"Well...it was an accident,...a known accident." he said and I laughed again.
"I'm going to get changed." I said.
"Yea, me too!" Nick added.

I was heading up the stairs to change.

"I've never seen you this happy." I turned around.
"Oh. Hey sis!" I said
"I'm glad you are acting like you used to" she said.
"Thanks! There's just something about-" I was cut off by my sis saying...
"Nick" she said.
"Yea, him. I said as I smiled and headed upstairs.

All this time, I was trying not to fall in love. And as soon as I let my guard down, I did. But I'm not in love with him just yet. Maybe I just need my space. To get away from him. I don't want to get hurt. And the only way that was going to happen, is if I let him in. That why I MUST stop.
