ok but in my opinion destroying a tv in this instance would be ok allowing for the greater good that it would serve, nevertheless - if you watch the clip - in my novice opinion - I would surmise - this is the box of a very old tv that would be dumped anyway, it doesn't look like a modern one, Please, don't pick hairs when their is so much at stake and so many people just looking for an excuse to retain the status quo.

@veganandlovingit The bit that annoyed me about the video was not the destruction of the building as most of the parts from the look of it can and probably have been recycled. Smashing up tv sets on the other hand does not display a sense of sustainability due to certain parts used in tv construction are a) dangerous to manufacture and b) are not recyclable and in some cases are infact toxic.
I should have probably stated that a while back.

@veganandlovingit I am not that simple minded to think that something should not be done about it, I just feel different approaches should be made to tackle the issues and further promote conservation in a sustainable fashion.

@veganandlovingit I do not discredit the intelligence of the makers no, it's what they get paid for. But if someone sees this ad and thinks in similar ways to what I do, then they too will assume that if it is ok to waste resource to make an advert then what is the point in saving them altogether.

Respond to this video... what was the intention of your post if it wasn't to discredit the intelligence and integrity of the makers of this advert? The impression I got from your post is that if the makers of such an ad waste resources then the ad is irrelevant. Consequently offering a lame justification to ignore the ad. Am I wrong?

@airbournegrapefruit well I feel indignant about your post. They created and destroyed a small film set to make a deeply moving and thought provoking ad. This is the sort of thing that sometimes gets through to people and makes them realise the consequences of their actions. We cannot afford to continue losing old forests and the animals that live in them. I heard the other day that we can expect to orangutans to go extinct within the next two decades if we don't change our behaviours now.

Fabulous. Thanks and kudos to the makers. Is the Forest Stewardship Council a global organisation?

@veganandlovingit Again, fantastic. I'm sure there are better ways to get the message across. It is a well made advert though.

@veganandlovingit Yeah that's a great response. That'll really help with your amazingly positive attitude.
