  • 13:24 This expressway has been changed into one lane. Why is this happen?

  • @TheXKeroroGunsou The expressway in Japan is not decided two lanes.

It becomes one lane in the place where the amount of traffic with few earnings is little.

There is a by-pass from IC in this side and I think doing of which a lot of cars go out here.

and the tunnel are thought that it is a cause to cost the cost of construction.

  • Nice video, shows the origin landscape of Japan, not only the big cities. Thank you for that, but by the way, what type of car do you drive in your vids?

    Greetings from Germany!

  • @MBW116 My car is a Daihatsu Atrai7 (5MT).

    service area 50km - 80km

    parking area 15km - 20km

  • @ShichiAkaAkuma In most European countries where I've driven (nearly all of Europe), there are good rest areas, but most of them are spaced apart some 50 or more kms, with many smaller rest areas that are as I described in between.

There is a reason why there is a huge lack of truck parking in Europe because the parking areas are way too small. Trucks park on the shoulder. That said, I'm a bit surprised by the lack of truck traffic in Japan.

  • @aswchris Where I live (Portugal) there are a lot of excellent rest areas in highways, with restaurants, convenience stores, toilets, parks, etc. I can't possibly believe that other developed countries in Europe offer "parking areas with just a few benches, a garbage bin and maybe a rundown toilet block" to its people.

  • @aswchris You have to stop talking about a single Europe when there are a lot of Europes. Every country has its own system of highways and rest areas. First of all, it's not true that Japan has rest areas every 10 km. The speed of drivemovie's video might give you the wrong idea. And not all rest areas in Japan look that good. If you take a look ate his other videos you'll see some that don't look that amazing, especially in the north.

  • @ShichiAkaAkuma You think Europe has as many well-equipped rest areas every 10 km like in Japan?

  • @aswchris Hum.... Speak for yourself... Where you from?
