If you tie a knot in between each bead (like someone that makes malas near me does!) the beads wont go everywhere if it breaks :) it takes some time, but it's worth it!

Say i cant buy or dont have a guru(meru) bead, how would you substitute it in a mala?

Man, awsome! I am in Brazil and now I can start making malas. I have an social yoga class in a shelter for teenagers. I needed to learn to make one and now I do. Thank you so much. I will probably buy the book too. Big Hug from Brazil.

hey
just wanted to say that you did an awsome explanation and a lovely video as well
I just wanted to ask, are you hindu or buddhist? (it doesn't matter at all!)
its just out of curiosity about the red and yellow multi coloured thread bracelet on your wrist :P
thanks a lot - lovely explanation - I bought some beads but couldn't do it till now. I'll get the other simple tools you showed and will prepare my first mala with tassel! by the way, do you know how to make the final knot (I thinks the name is vajra knot)?

Hi, I showed how to make two different knots on the videos. Those are the only ones I know. If you learn something different please let me know. Thanks for watching.
