TRANSLATION : If, however, you do not fight this religious war, then you will certainly incur sins for neglecting your duties and thus lose your reputation as a fighter.
PURPORT : Arjuna was a famous fighter, and he attained fame by fighting many great demigods, including even Lord Siva. After fighting and defeating Lord Siva in the dress of a hunter, Arjuna pleased the lord and received as a reward a weapon called pasupata-astra. Everyone knew that he was a great warrior. Even Dronacarya gave him benedictions and awarded him the special weapon by which he could kill even his teacher. So he was credited with so many military certificates from many authorities, including his adopted father Indra, the heavenly king. But if he abandoned the battle, he would not only neglect his specific duty as a ksatriya, but he would lose all his fame and good name and thus prepare his royal road to hell. In other words, he would go to hell, not by fighting, but by withdrawing from battle.

  • @thugproofclips Norway, u suck

  • haha, bet the people living in the village at 5:40 didn't have a clue what the fuck was going on

  • @historatia Incorrect, the Germans should leave their prisoners into Norwegian custody as soon they reached Bergen. Then they should leave Norwegian waters within 48hours completely. As they did not the Germans broke the Norwegian neutrality and the British had their righs to attack them in Norwegian water. Norwegain authorities should have searched the ship better.

  • @drunkest100 The answer to that depends on whether it is or is not a violation of neutrality to transport prisoners of war through "neutral" waters. If the answer is "yes", then it was the Germans, if "no" then the British. According to the Hague convention on prisoners (rescued from sinking vessels in this case) the caring for prisoners -- as in this case-- was NOT and Act of War as the Germans were not attacking the British. Accordingly the British broke the Norwegian neutrality first.

  • @historatia Ok, for the sake of it i'll accept your argument regarding planning, but tell me this, who violated Norwegian neutrality first?

  • @drunkest100 I guess not all people are as propagandized as your childish "good guys" "bad guys" image of other peoples.

  • @drunkest100 As the son of a man who was involved in the planning of the Luftwaffe operatinos in the occupation operation I can tell you that the decision to proceed was made for EXACTLY and ONLY to pre-empt the British takeover. The Germans and Norwegians were into discussions until the last minute to allow Germany in by agreement if the British violated the neutrality.
