  • The speaker box is just plywood with all the edges caulked to prevent leaking gas. Leave about 6" between the end of your speaker and the tube (enclosed in the box). Speaker we used was an old car stereo speaker. If you want to hear the music you are playing though the tube, it works best to hook up a second speaker.

  • We used six feet of 2" black pipe with an end cap on one side.

Along the top are 5/32" holes with 1/2" centers, but leave about 6" on either side. To supply gas to the tube, weld a 1/2" pipe nipple to the bottom in the center. Use appropriate pipe fittings and gas fittings to connect the tube to the regulator, and then to the propane tank. Ensure your regulator is roughly 200,000 BTU or you won't get enough pressure (average BBQ regulator is 50,000 to 80,000BTU).

  • Does anyone else find it funny that a find plumbers ad came up?

  • To much propane and propane accessories.

  • Which materials, sizes and distances did you use? Works great tbh.
