I lived in Wallace during Heaven's Gates (1979). It sure can create excitment.

Wallace seemed to be the perfect location with all the mountains.
Dante's Peak was a digitally altered hill next to the city.

I enjoyed it. I live in Wallace and it's nice to hear business owners say "good things" on camera even though they sometimes were saying something else at the Post Office.

Thanks for the good comments. The video was made to promote the film finance package that the Idaho film commission is putting together in Boise. Idaho is still not in a position to compete even with Oregon; so I guess it didn't work. I've since moved to California to get work in the movie industry. Even films that are being written about Idaho aren't made here because there are such poor financial incentives. .
