This was a very good performance on the world's hardest to play instrument: the "hautbois"!

Very nice playing, sensitively done and not a piece I know. Pleasing sensitive sound. There are some real finds on utube

@georgbr way to be a mr know it all. You sound SO elitist.

Your performance is bold but it lacks the maturity of the piece. Tabuteau would have not liked your heavy handed interpretation of this piece. You need to go back and learn to phrase the music precisely as written and show some dynamic difference. MF to F is not adequate. Technically it was good but your body language was distracting. After every musical phase you would shrug and stamp and take the reed out and look around.. Much too much movement.

Wow! This is beautiful!!
I'm going to play it (on the oboe) for solo and ensemble...
I hope that I can play as wonderfully as you did!!!

I played this song as a freshman in high school!

very nice. I'm playing this for a jury in 9th grade, and i'm struggling a bit with it. I am going a bit slower but it is hard. anyway, I love your tone and everything!

Finally! Ive been trying to find a recording of this song! Im playing it this year at Solo Ensemble on my alto saxophone. I am a Senior in high school...there is no way some guy played this in 7th grade. (according to another one of your comments). But that's besides the point.
You had an AMAZING tone, and i think it sounds better on oboe than on saxophone. Very Nicely Done :)
