Like one who chose a more expensive home instead of health insurance for his family and then developed lymphoma (but received care, bone marrow transplant, etc all on the public dime) and another who had 2 state teacher's retirements and kept neither health plan, had a quarter million divorce settlement and blew it on a risky investment...now has cancer. But receiving care...Medicare. Poor decisions have consequences.

@PhantasyGod Newsflash..we're now doing our fighting in Afghanistan dear. Do you know how many people die when insurance companies decline them? I didn't think so....because this is a myth. My mother was chronically ill for YEARS!!..no one ever dropped her. If patients reach their lifetime maximums, there are other funding options like Medicaid or state and private funding. But if you are broke (as our country is), you don't improve your situation by creating more debt for yourself.
