This is a short video clip taken while walking around an open market in Phitsanulok, Thailand on July 4, 2009. It was taken at 8:00am, right when everything stopped for the playing of the Thai National anthem, which is broadcasted at 8:00am and 6:00pm every day in Thailand. My favorite part of this video is how Ben (at 2.5 years old) is trying to sing along with the anthem as it is being played.

  • Turtle and eel are probably for release as a way of making merits (free/save a life).

As they are not regular items for food.

But, ironically, sometimes, that's why they are caught in the first place.

  • Pratet Thai Eioy!
