Independent Study Mentorship (ISM) is a class that involves the student choosing any topic of their choice and studying it with a mentor that guides them along throughout the school year to gain insight that they may not be able to find in a book. Second semester, the student focuses on making a product that represents the depth and complexity of their study. At the end of the year, the student presents both the product and what they've learned in a 45-60 minute presentation.
