  • Amazing video, no presets lots of manual adjusting? Noticed some shots are darkened some are lightened. Appears to have a circular swirl to the edges and edge darkening. I use Sony Vegas 9 what would you recommend me using? Thanks!

  • @pinkfloydeffect I don't use manual adjusting, instead I use color correction plugin, the border darkening effect is the vignetting effect I used from the plugin. If you mean the plugin for Vegas 9, I'd recommend Magic Bullet.

  • how did you do the film looking thingy ?

  • First I shot it in 24p, all movie use this frame rate to get the film look (the motion, etc). And then color grading/correction.

  • Hi I just got HF11 today.. and am wondering if you know if I can edit cinema look effect with iMovie?

  • Yes, you should be able to edit it with iMovie and add color effect. But I don't have much info for iMovie because I don't have Mac.

  • What are you using for stabilization in this video?

  • doesn't look like film, if you see a real film it doesn't look as dark and saturated.

No one can achieve the film look without shooting on film. BTW i like the look at 1:01 mins, looks close.

  • that program very useful for doing that, and that filter or effect were

  • @ThunderZTRM The only vignette effects I have is under "soft contrast" and its called "warm vignette" but I don't like the coloring so I only use the vignette portion of it. Magic Bullet huh? I'll look into it, is that what has your vignette? Becuase it looks like there's no vignetting on the bottom of your frames only top and or sides? Thanks

  • this is awesome. saved, favourited, subscribed.

  • good job

  • impressive!! how come the edited looks diffused or has a glow?
