can they go with angels, dwarf frogs, goldfish, tigerbarbs, glow fish, and paddletailed newts??? and can they go in 25 gallon tank??????
volcomrox45 3 years ago
Not angels, dwarf frogs would get eaten, tiger barbs would get eaten, and paddletailed newts would pry be missing toes/limbs/tail bits. And they can fit in a 25 gallon. Two smaller ones depending on their activity and filtration can live in a 25, but more gallons is better.

will thia kinda fish be fine with a oscar
itsjustmecody 3 years ago
No most likely the oscar will pick on your bichir, because oscars are an aggressive cichilid, plus he will starve because the oscar will find the food much faster. Bichirs are so clumsy when it comes to eating. I'm sure there are some exceptions but most likely no. :o)

No, because bichirs are so clumsy when they try to find food the oscar would eat it all...It can hit them in the face and they wouldnt know it. Oscars are an aggressive cichlid I would only keep them with another oscar at adult size in a 50 gallon.

hi, i have a senagal bichir and he keeps on staying at the top of my aquarium but not the bottom can any one tell me whats wrong with him?
hellfire850 3 years ago
Does he have enough hiding places at the bottonm? He could be staying at the top so that he is behind the black strip or feels safe right under the lid. If its cuz he Can't get down he might have a swimbladder problem. Or maybe he just likes the top because thats where the food comes in :)
