The clip says it all...a once in a lifetime experience at Wolong Reserve near Chengdu, China. Before anyone accuses me of mis-treatment or cruelty to the pandas, I can tell you the Wolong Reserve near Chengdu in Sichuan China closely monitors exposure by the pandas to humans and only allows the pandas to be handled infrequently and only to small groups. Furthermore, the centre is under funded by the Chinese Govt. hence they rely heavily on Western tourist dollars to assist in running this remote Panda breeding centre. The money spent by Western tourists to get close to the pandas is essential in keeping this centre running and flourishing.....if you want to visit the Pandas at Wolong Reserve, then check out this link for more info :

  • @Lazybate - What did you think I did ? Kidnap the panda and cook it ? Check your facts - the breeding centre is run by the BEST fucking panda vets in the world - they know what's good or bad for the pandas - and the money tourists pay to hold the pandas helps pay the fucking bills to keep the place running. The vets physically interact with the panda cubs every bloody day, so exposure to other humans is not some evil torture, but something to which they are already accustomed.

  • @Lazybate - Not its not a tourist attraction - its two and a half hours drive from the nearest major city - it ain't Disneyland in downtown Anaheim, or Universal Studios in the middle of Los Angeles. The Wolong Reserve was built where it is, because that's the pandas natural habitat in the mountain regions. No one is taking advantage of the pandas, the pandas are handled and closely monitored by humans from day one - suggest you do some better research.

  • @IllyBidol - Oh, and you've never had your photo taken with a cat or a dog or any other type of animal ? And as for "taking the young from their parents" - you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. The young pandas are seperated from the adult pandas for periods of the day because the older pandas get territorial and the young pandas are at risk of being hurt - so go check the facts before posting more inaccurate & naive comments.
