  • @shanghaibiker Had to put this out there because I've spent so much time on this watch. Definitely two batteries. 2032 for digital, and the little one (379) underneath the 2032 (don't miss it) is for the analog. Push the watchband pin all the way through on both straps to gain access to the screws that allow you to take the back off.

  • and celsius?

  • I'm fairly certain the large battery is for digital (2032) and the small one is for analog (379)

  • i have this watch i need it fixed the rubber keeps coming off any alternative bands i could use

  • have had this watch for 5 .5 yrs. replaced batteries once at local jewelry $35. i called swiss army they told me $75! wtf? anyway am now on 3rd band replacement as the rubber rots and breaks and at around $30 a pop plus battery i'm into it for more than i paid! QUESTION: is there any alt bands for startech3000 like leather or leather/nylon as it lasts longer...

  • @chairman68

I followed your instructions and replaced the larger battery (3v CR 2032) with a 3v DL 2032. Reassembled the watch. The digital still works but not the the analogue. I can pull out the stem to set the watch, but when I push it back in the second hand does not move. I appreciate your help.

  • Yes, this is the exact watch that was bequeathed to me and was trying to ID. I have a problem: the digital is working but not the analogue.
