You're awesome, Dave. You need your own show, I wonder if Food Network has caught wind of you yet.
Also, I think I should have been born southern.

I am southern as they come? I was born and raised in Charleston SC??
The food network knows i am here. I do not think I am their flavor. LOL

I started watching these about a week ago and i've nearly watched them all.
Dave, you are the MAN!
I love the fact that you are so enthusiastic about food, that's how you know it's all going to taste so gooood.
I'm from the UK and it's great to see another style of cooking, maybe i'll put on some recipies for some English food? If i'm ever in Charleston i'll look you up.
Just one question, what's the song at the start?

Hey, Dave, I gotta question for you: What exactly does a buttermilk marinade do? Help this sorta kinda novice cooker out!
Love your vids, btw.

It is supposed to help the flour to stick to the chicken and give you a thick crust. I don't use because it soaks up the oil and then you are eating the oil. Yeah, I still eat some with my chicken but not close to the amount if you batter the chicken in a thick crust.
THanks,
DAve
