Michael Aubrey at-bat during a November 15 Arizona Fall League game between the Surprise Rafters and the Phoenix Desert Dogs. The first baseman was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the first round (11th overall pick) of the 2003 First-Year Player Draft out of Tulane. Aubrey hit .248/.290/.403 with seven home runs and 34 RBI for the Double-A Akron Aeros of the Eastern League in 2007. He spent 13 games with the high Single-A Kinston Indians, where he batted .400 with five home runs and 11 RBI in 50 Carolina League at-bats.
Boy, I sure hope this guy makes it with our Nats next year...I've really liked him since the O's got him from Cleveland...nice guy, great glove, good power...20 HR/yr. potential for a #11 overall draft pick in 2005.
