  • Have you heard of some piranhas being vegetarians? I heard and saw a vegetarian piranha in my high school animal science class's aquarium.

    Most times these vegetarian piranhas were mistaken with young pacus. Both species are closly related and look very equal when they are young. Pacus feed from vegetable and nuts (which they can crack with their mouth).

  • VERY nice. Only thing I'd do is add a koralia for some water movement. Other than that, very well done.

  • are they moving slowly because theres no entertainment for them or is the water colder then it should be and thats why they are moving so slow?
