@b44ts I have a Yachtmaster and the claps is smooth and slick and in no way tinny , I also have a GMT master 2, that clasp differs from the Yachtmaster but again is not tinny , the bottom line is you do not know what you are talking about.

@b44ts Have you ever held a real Rolex? The clasp feels cheap and sounds very tinny. The clasp is probably the worst part on a Rolex.

I have never seen ( and I have looked and live in Asia one single fake Rolex yatchmaster that has got the Bezel right ( its profile is wrong ) or the face right .
I own and original and that is one reason why ..They cant copy it no matter how hard they try the Platnium does not work unless its real . Fake yatchmasters that can pull it off DO NOT EXIST

just like the Porsche they are mass produced, not a negative for either brand considering the mass produced is only relative to their market, their markets being very very small. Porsche and Rolex are still small when compared to domestic brands, but large compared to luxury.

Rolex is the Porsche of watches, beautiful, well made, high quality, reliable and expensive, with good short term retention of value and great long term investment return. 1990 you could buy a Daytona for $1800, those same watches are worth $35,000-$60,000 today, Red subs 1680 were a $1200 watch wholesale then, now worth $7500-$12,000. Now brand makes you investment returns like Rolex, not Blancpain or Patek, they just hold value. Rolex movements are trusted workers.
