  • @justwarren I was obsessed with this work during most of my 20s. Now, decades later, it is such a satisfying experience to encounter it again in this interpretation by Diane Walsh. I would certainly second your appreciation of her performance. I would encourage anyone who loves this piece by Debussy to also listen to Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli's performance, also preserved here on YouTube.

  • Very very nice! She was noted in the NY Times today for her new CD of the Schubert Piano Sonatas. Clearly her technique is excellent but equally, if not more important (to me) is the music is "musical". She has a very beautiful, musical interpretation in this sensitve and refined performance of this piece by Debussy. Bravo!
