I had H1N1 about a little over a month ago. First day, I begin taking Sambucol syrup 4x daily. I only went to the doctor & found out I had H1N1 was because of the bad cough, however, I did not find this flu very severe, other than the cough - the sore throat lasted a day or so, fever mild, aches and pains minimal. I''ve been using Sumbucol for about five years whenever I start to get sick and swear by it . It lightens the severity and shorten the duration of most viral type illness.
